Boot Default Config

 

For old style ISRv1's, ISRv2's Cat switches etc:

1. Boot into rommon mode by sending BREAK over the console during bootup
2. In rommon mode enter "confreg 0x2142"
3. Then reset, enter "reset"
4. After booting with a default config, configure the device as required then set the config register to load saved start-up config.
   In config mode enter "config-register 0x2102; end; wr"
5. Reboot.
